Similar to sugarcane
bagasse, areca palm
leaves are a byproduct
of farming. Planted
throughout Asia, the
areca palm shreds its
large leaves every few
weeks, providing a
sustainable and
eco-friendly resource.
Durable, bamboo is an
extremely strong material.
Depending on the bamboo
product (for hygienic reasons), it can be reused multiple times before disposal.
A waste product,
sugarcane bagasse is
what’s left over after
sugarcane stalks have
been crushed to
extract its juice for
sugar manufacturing.
Tried and true, wood is a classic all rounder material that is strong, durable, oil and leak proof that also looks great.

Our Materials
It feels good to know we are doing something remarkable! The materials used to produce our products are 100% natural without plastic lining, additives free and unbleached.
SUGARCANE BAGASSE
Sugarcane bagasse is what’s left over after the sugarcane stalks have been crushed to extract its juice for sugar
manufacturing.
Before its properties, as a moldable, durable, and breathable material was discovered, large amounts of bagasse were burned as a method of disposal, releasing thousands of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
Thankfully, these days we harness its exceptional properties as a material to produce plates, bowls, trays and cups.
By choosing sugarcane bagasse products, you’re choosing to go with a perfectly useful waste by-product that is continuously generated instead of from chopped down forests.
Moreover, sugarcane bagasse requires less energy in the manufacturing process because it’s already pulped into a fibrous material. And because it’s naturally pierced and oil proof, no PLA lining is needed, making it both home and industrial compost safe.

ARECA NUT SHEATH
These products are made from the fallen sheath of the Areca nut palm. They are not a byproduct; it’s the natural process of the palm that shreds its large leaves every few weeks, providing a sustainable and ecofriendly resource.
Once upon a time, these leaves were burned, but now they been used to create plates, bowls and trays. After collection and cleaning, they are heat pressed into their desired shape – and that’s it! The outcome is natural tableware, which is home and industrial compost safe.
Strong, semi-flexible, non-brittle, and water and heat resistant. Our Areca palm products can be used to bake (45 minutes at 350 ) or put in the microwave for up to two minutes!

BAMBOO PAPER
Bamboo is a solid material that can be reused multiple times before disposal.
It’s also one of the fastest-growing fields globally, managing to grow 91 cm each day. This speedy regeneration makes it a ‘super’ renewable and sustainable choice, requiring less land to produce high quantities. Also, it’s home and industrial compost safe, so you can return it to earth.
Cropped bamboo doesn’t require replanting; instead, it can regenerate from its cut stems, reducing the resources needed to maintain it!

WOOD PAPER
When a conversation arise about wood products, is normally perceived as unsustainable. But in fact, all our paper products are sourced from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) approved. Meaning that all our suppliers meet the FSC’s best practices assuring forests are healthy and farmed sustainably from responsible timber forest farming.
